すぎる (Too much)
Too much, Very
JLPT N5

Verb (ます-stem) / adjective stem + すぎる
How it works
すぎる means “too much”. Attach it to a ます-stem (食べすぎる) or an adjective without its final い or な (高すぎる, しずかすぎる). It conjugates like a る-verb: すぎます, すぎた.
Examples
