ね (Isn't it?)
Isn't it?, Right? (Sentence ending particle)
JLPT N5
Pattern
Sentence + ね
How it works
ね at the end of a sentence invites agreement or confirms something both people share: “isn't it? / right?”. It makes speech sound friendly. Compare よ, which gives new information.
Examples
