～な adjective

How it works

な-adjectives behave like nouns: they take です/だ to end a sentence and な before a noun (しずかな へや). Some end in い but are still な-adjectives, such as きれい and ゆうめい.

Examples

  • この 公園は きれいです。This park is beautiful.
  • ゆうめいな レストランに 行きました。I went to a famous restaurant.
