Noun + も

How it works

も means “also/too”. It replaces は, が and を rather than following them, but it can follow other particles (にも, でも, へも). With a negative verb it means “not … either”.

Examples

  • わたしも 行きます。I'll go too.
  • 田中さんも 来て ください。Please come too, Mr. Tanaka.
  • きのうも きょうも 雨でした。It rained both yesterday and today.
