Verb (ます-stem) + ながら

How it works

ながら joins two actions done at the same time by the same person. The main action comes last: 音楽を聞きながら勉強する (study while listening to music).

Examples

  • 音楽を 聞きながら べんきょうします。I study while listening to music.
  • テレビを 見ながら ごはんを 食べます。I eat while watching TV.
