な-Adjective + Noun (Describing a noun)
Describing a noun
JLPT N5
Pattern
な-adjective + な + Noun
How it works
な-adjectives take な before a noun: しずかな へや, かんたんな 本. Before です they take nothing (しずかです). A whole description can also go before the noun: 日本語がかんたんな本 (a book with easy Japanese).
Examples
- しずかな へやが いいです。A quiet room would be good.
- 日本語が かんたんな 本が いいです。I'd like a book with easy Japanese.
