また + Verb / また + time word

How it works

また means “again”. In farewells, また + a future time means “see you then”: また来週 (see you next week), またあした. The time word must be in the future.

Examples

  • さようなら。また 来週。Goodbye. See you next week.
  • また 来て ください。Please come again.
