Pattern
Verb (ます-stem) + つづける
How it works
ます-stem + つづける means “keep doing / continue doing”: 歩きつづける (keep walking), 雨がふりつづける (it keeps raining).
Examples
- 三時間 歩きつづけました。I kept walking for three hours.
- これからも 日本語の 勉強を つづけたいです。I want to keep studying Japanese.
