な-adj ～にする / い-adj ～くする
How it works
Adjective + する means “make something ~” on purpose: へやをきれいにする (tidy the room), 音を小さくする (turn the volume down). 大切にする means “treasure / take good care of”.
Examples
- プレゼント、大切に します。I'll treasure this present.
- テレビの 音を 小さく して ください。Please turn the TV down.
