Verb (ます-stem) + ながら

How it works

ながら means one person does two actions at the same time. The main action comes at the end: 音楽を聞きながら勉強する (study while listening to music).

Examples

音楽を聞きながら勉強します。I study while listening to music.
歩きながら電話しないでください。Please don't talk on the phone while walking.
