Time + ごろ
How it works
ごろ after a point in time means “around”: 3時ごろ (around 3 o'clock). For amounts or lengths of time, use ぐらい instead.
Examples
- 7時ごろ うちへ 帰ります。I'll get home around 7.
- 4月ごろ さくらが さきます。Cherry blossoms bloom around April.
