Noun + が + 好き（だ）
How it works
好き is a な-adjective meaning “liked”. The thing you like takes が, not を: わたしはねこが好きです. Before a noun it becomes 好きな: 好きな食べ物 (favourite food).
Examples
- わたしは ねこが 好きです。I like cats.
- 好きな スポーツは 何ですか。What's your favourite sport?
