How it works

など means “and so on / things like”. It ends a list (often with や) or softens a single example: お茶などいかがですか (how about some tea or something?).

Examples

りんごやみかんなどを買いました。I bought apples, mandarins and so on.
休みの日は映画など見ます。On days off I watch movies and the like.
