どこ (question word)
How it works
どこ asks “where?”. Use どこに with ある/いる, どこで for where an action happens, and どこへ/どこに for a destination. Add か for “somewhere” (どこか).
Examples
- トイレは どこですか。Where is the toilet?
- くだものは どこに ありますか。Where is the fruit?
