How it works

お + ます-stem + ください is a very polite request, common from staff to customers: お待ちください (please wait), おかけください (please have a seat).

Examples

  • 少々 お待ち ください。Please wait a moment.
  • こちらに お名前を お書き ください。Please write your name here.
