How it works
以上 after a number means “or more”: 18さい以上 (18 and over). Note that it includes the number itself.
Examples
- 18さい以上の 人は 入れます。People aged 18 and over can enter.
- 一日 8時間以上 はたらいて います。I work more than eight hours a day.
