ほかに(も) / ほか(に)は
How it works
ほかに means “besides / other”. ほかにも adds “also”: ほかにも質問がありますか (any other questions?). ほかには focuses on what else there is.
Examples
- ほかに 何か 質問は ありますか。Do you have any other questions?
- すし以外に、ほかにも 好きな 料理が あります。Besides sushi, there are other dishes I like.
