ませんか (Won't you)
Won't you, Would you not, Why don't we
JLPT N5
Pattern
Verb (ます-stem) + ませんか
How it works
ませんか is a polite invitation: “won't you ~?”. It is softer than ましょう because it leaves room to say no. いっしょに is often added.
Examples
